Description:American actor, dancer and singer, widely known for her performance in films, particularly RKO musical productions. She was often partnered with Fred Astaire. Rogers appeared on stage as well as radio and TV throughout much of the 20th century. In 1940 she was the recipient of the Academy Award for Best Actress (Kitty Foyle).
