Description:American pianist/entertainer, recording artist and television personality. At one time he was the highest paid entertainer in Las Vegas, billed as “Mr. Showmanship.” A posthumous pseudo-bio pic was made in 2013 “Behind the Candelabra,” co-starring Michael Douglas as Liberace. Tragically died from complications of AIDS which his publicity machine steadfastly denied as suffering from “the watermelon diet”.
