DS – Document Signed: partially printed 15.5″x12.5″ dated 31 December 1977. Signed at the top right by the Queen and, at the bottom right, by Philip as Grand Master of the Order of the British Empire. Features a large blind-embossed seal in the upper left margin. This was the award Mrs. Edith Gertrude Mitchell as an ordinary member of the Civil Division. Mrs. Mitchell was Deputy General Secretary, Commonwealth Headquaarters, The Girls Guides’ Association. NOTA BENE: The certificate is under glass and frame but, at the customer’s request can be removed and shipped flat. Document in near mint condition.
