Description:American actress and singer. One of the greatest of Hollywood stars of the 1950s and 60s. Hosted her own TV sitcom from 1968-73. Awarded a Golden Globe and Cecil B. DeMille Award for Lifetime Achievement in Motion Pictures. In 2004 she was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Four years later she received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award as well as a Legend Award from the Society of Singers.
