Member of the Democratic Party, he served from 1963-67 in the George State Senate and, from 1971-75 as the 76th governor of Georgia. Carter is the longest-living president in US history and the first to have reached the age of 100.
TLS – Typewritten Letter Signed, one page, February 7, 1977, on White House letterhead. NOTA BENE: Having been framed and, likely, exposed to UV or sun, the letter is rather “tanned”. Nevertheless, the text and signature are very clear. We would classify as as “good to very good.” Price reflects minimal “imperfection”.
