Italian – born foundress of the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. A tireless advocate for immigrants and the sick. By the time of her death she had founded 67 missionary institutions around the world. Typewritten Letter Signed, two sides of one page, Buenos Aires 1908, addressed to Reynaudi Leone, (1845 – 1926), a distinguished member of the Italian Senate. The letter has superb content and mentions the founding of hospitals in Colombia and New York. She also discusses ministry “…to the poor immigrants.” The letter is in good condition. It is accompanied beautiful 8×10 color portrait and comes with a complete translation.
