American painter and muralist.  SIG – Vintage signature (1970) on the reverse of a post-card.  Sufficient room for matting.  Accompanied by a small color reprint self-portrait of the artist. Along with Grant Wood and John Stuart Curry, Benton was at the forefront of the Regionalist art movement.
