TNS – Typewritten Note Signed, one side of biglietto card, dated October 1951. Possibly written to Monsignor Carrado Balducci. Hurriedly typewritten, friendly, note in which he forwards cigarettes to Enrico by courier, comments on Balducci’s return from holidays, and sends the regards of the papal nuncio. At the time that Oddi wrote this note, he was charge d’affaires of the Belgrade nunciature. A mere 1.5 years later, due to the increasingly anti-religious sentiment in Belgrade, Oddi was asked to pack up and leave Belgrade. A nice early example from his ecclesiastical career.
