TLS – Typewritten Letter Signed – written to Radie Harris – entertainment journalist and, allegedly, infrequent paramour. Reads: It was so sweet of you to remember me on opening night last Wednesday. Your wire helped to make it the exciting night it was. From all signs, our first five performances have gone well, but we’re still working hard — very hard. By the time the eleven weeks on the road are up we hope our offering will be acceptable. Thank you again Love, Tyrone.

The play “The Dark Is Light Enough” co-starred actress Katharine Cornell. They launched their North American tour in Buffalo in late November 1954, eventually taking the play to Broadway’s ANTA Theater in February 1955. Penned on the stationery of Hotel Statler Buffalo, 29 November 1954.
