Description:Thirty-seventh president of the United States, serving from 1969 to 1974. A member of the Republican Party, Nixon previously served as the 36th vice president from 1953 to 1961, having risen to national prominence as a representative and senator from California. DS – Document Signed. Fountain pen ink signature on his engraved Vice Presidential calling card. Accompanied by a handsome color glossy reprint of an oil portrait. For a nominal sum we can arrange to have the ensemble professionally matted and framed. Please inquire.
NOTA BENE: Since the Eisenhower Administration, the vast majority of presidential signatures have been produced by Auto-pen or secretaries skilled in the handwriting of the respective president. John F. Kennedy, for example, had a dozen people authorized to sign for him. This engraved V.P. calling card is an authentic example.
