Born William Henry Pratt. English actor who was primarily known for his roles in horror films. Star of stage, screen and TV.

SIG – Vintage fountain pen ink signature on a card, acquired in-person during the 1941 Broadway run of “Arsenic and Old Lace”. Accompanied by a 8″x10″ black and white, matte-finish, character still as “Frankenstein”. Wonderful ensemble for display. Highly desirable.

Karloff portrayed Frankenstein’s monster in Frankenstein (1931), Bride of Frankenstein (1935) and Son of Frankenstein (1939). He also appeared as Imhotep in The Mummy (1932). In non-horror roles, Mr. Karloff is best known to modern audiences for narrating and as the voice of the Grinch in the animated TV special of Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas! (1966). For his contribution to film and TV, Karloff was awarded two stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
