Italian cardinal; archbishop of Fermo. Professor – Pontifical Academy of Ecclesiastica Nobles for many years. Canon of the Liberian Basilica. Coadjutor bishop of Montefiascone then Apostolic Visitor in Forli. Camerlengo of the church. Attended the First Vatican Council of which he was made chief presiding officer.
LS – Letter Signed, one page, 20 December 1856. Addressed to Monsignor Borromeo Orese, Majordomo of the Papal Household. Sendings Christmas greetings and mentions other personal matters. Beautiful calligraphic secretarial hand; signed at the bottom by de Angelis in minute script.
