ANS – Autograph Note Signed – Untranslated Italian; addressed to the grandson or nephew of Cardinal Pietro Maffi; two sides of personal calling card. Early, 1941, note while an official of the Sacred Consistorial Congregation. Accompanied by original mailing envelope addressed to Dott. G. Pietro Maffi. It would appear that this relative of Cardinal Maffi followed in his footsteps and was a respected academic in Pavia.
